How long does a garage door installation take?
A standard single-car garage door installation takes approximately 3–4 hours. A double-car door takes 4–6 hours. This includes removal of the old door (if applicable), installation of the new door, tracks, springs, opener, and weatherstripping, plus a full safety inspection.
What R-value insulation should I choose?
For Canadian climates, we strongly recommend insulated doors. R-12 is suitable for detached garages. R-16 is our most popular choice for attached garages. R-18 is ideal for heated garages or homes in extreme cold regions (Prairies, Northern Ontario, Québec). Insulated doors also run quieter and are more durable.
